Chadoka Art Studio Chadoka Art Studio is a place where creativity knows no boundaries as far as art is concerned, hosted by founder Takura Chadoka working in a variety of media and materials to create breathtaking colours that leave an everlasting impression. Chadoka Art Studio is situated in the coastal town of Pringle Bay about 100 km from Cape Town and houses paintings done in unique African style, showcasing African people and way of life. Takura Chadoka`s paintings reflect the Shona culture way of life in Zimbabwe, mostly life in the rural areas were he used to spend most of his time, and it also show the life of African people and there daily activitie. Lynette Morris-Hale creative ceramics Whether you are an experienced ceramicist or a first-time dabbler in all things clay, Lynette Morris-Hale\'s pottery classes are an excellent way to spend a day. Lynette has won awards for her beautiful pieces, and keeps her lessons fun and dynamic. This allows her student to express themselves and create beautiful pieces using only their hands and the malleable clay. Before moving to Pringle Bay, Lynette had a ceramic studio in Durban and was the chairperson of the KwaZulu-Natal Ceramic Association. With years of experience in teaching and creating gorgeous pottery pieces, Lynette is amply qualified to teach students of all abilities, from the ages of 6 years and older. Lessons are flexible and creative. This means that students could make a wide variety of things during their time in the studio – from soap dishes and bowls to animal or human forms. You may even paint a mug or a plate. John the Potter Gallery John the Potter gallery on the main road of Bettys Bay is a lovely pottery shop and working studio. All the ceramics are hand made on the premises by John Ellis. Spend some time admiring the huge assortment of dinner ware, salad bowls, tiles to large raku pots. Johns main emphasis is on unusual and beautiful glazes, he fires in a large flame kiln which allows for the special glaze effects. Come and meet John or his wife Louise and browse in the gallery.
